Round 1 Kannungo throws a hard jab but Denny Albright throws a cross right over the top rocking Kannungo. Denny Albright dives in on a leg but Kannungo defends well forcing Denny Albright to get back to his feet into a clinch. Masud drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Albright sets a guillotine choke but Masud slips out at the last moment. Masud is now caught in guard. Albright shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Masud catches a leg kick from Denny, and puts him on the mat. Albright slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Masud Kannungo grabs a guillotine hold and forces Albright back down gaining side control. Denny Albright takes a few knees to the body while under Kannungos side control. Kannungo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Denny throws a few jabs at Masud Kannungo that miss the mark. Masud connects with a hard punch making Denny bring him in to a tight clinch. Denny lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Masud Kannungo for a trip takedown. Masud Kannungo is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Denny Albrights half guard. Kannungo is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Kannungo maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
