Round 1 Paul Rickel sends Reshay to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Reshay Blake slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Rickel grabs a guillotine hold and forces Reshay Blake back down gaining side control. Reshay takes a few knees to the body while under Rickels side control. Paul Rickel slides his knee across the body of Reshay and takes full mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Reshay winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Reshay lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Paul for a trip takedown. Paul is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Reshay Blakes half guard. Paul Rickel is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Blake attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows Blake to move into the guard of Paul Rickel. Rickel gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Paul defends short shots well by turning his head. Reshay attempts to get a leg free to pass but Paul has it locked down too well. Paul Rickel attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
