Taj Ahadi slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Paul to the ground. Taj Ahadi works for a heel hook but cannot finish and both fighters work to standing. "Mahal" connects with a hard punch making Rickel bring him in to a tight clinch. "Mahal" drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Ahadi grabs a leg and falls back to attack the ankle. Ahadi switches to a heel hook but loses his grip letting Rickel scrambles to his feet. Paul is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Taj Ahadi quickly passed into half guard and right over into side control. Paul turns to give his back allowing Taj Ahadi to get both hooks in. Taj Ahadi works for and finally locks in a tight choke forcing Paul to tap out.
