Round 1 Teddy hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Banuelos. Teddy starts to put on the pressure, forcing Banuelos back into the cage. Teddy takes advantage and clinches. Banuelos works Anderson into the cage from the clinch. Banuelos presses his head under Teddys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Teddy Anderson wraps his arm around the back of Mauricio and hip tosses him over to his back with an O Goshi throw. Teddy Anderson lands in side control. Mauricio Banuelos takes a few knees to the body while under Teddy Andersons side control. Anderson attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Banuelos for his troubles. Banuelos sweeps over Teddy Anderson and quickly obtains mount position. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Mauricio Banuelos snaps back the head of Anderson with a stiff jab. Mauricio stuffs a shot from Teddy Anderson and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Mauricio Banuelos across the face. Mauricio Banuelos lands a series of return strikes. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Mauricio Banuelos and he traps Andersons extended leg to move to half guard. Mauricio wraps the arm of Teddy behind his back and traps it. Mauricio pounds away with shots to the face. Mauricio presses his foot onto the thigh of Teddy Anderson to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Mauricio delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Teddy to turn over. Mauricio takes the back. Anderson starts to wiggle out of back control, Mauricio lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Teddy Anderson shoots but Mauricio stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Banuelos throws a few jabs at Teddy that miss the mark. Banuelos hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Teddy Anderson. Banuelos connects with a series of punches forcing Teddy Anderson into a clinch. Mauricio escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Mauricio Banuelos fakes an overhand and is able to take down Teddy with a double ankle pick. Mauricio Banuelos takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Andersons guard. It doesn't pay off as Teddy Anderson makes his way to standing. Mauricio Banuelos narrowly dodges a cross from Teddy, but falls catching him in his guard. Mauricio Banuelos powers out sweeping Teddy with pure strength. Mauricio Banuelos is now in side control. Banuelos lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Teddy taps out to an Americana.
