Round 1 Len Adkins lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Len dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Round 2 Banuelos connects with a hard punch making Len bring him in to a tight clinch. Adkins attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Mauricio. Adkins grabs the plum and pulls Mauricios face into a powerful knee. Banuelos slips a cross from Adkins and lands an uppercut to the liver. Mauricio hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Len Adkins lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Round 3 Banuelos hits an uppercut to the head of Adkins followed by a hard hook. Len lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Mauricio hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A welt begins to form under Mauricios eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Len Adkins. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. As Mauricio Banuelos presses forward Len throws a wild spinning backfist. Mauricio Banuelos leans away from the strike and lands a couple of strong punches that staggers Len. Round 3 is finished.
