Round 1 Watson throws a push kick. St-Pierre shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "dragon slayers" nose.
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ramon drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Watson backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A wild hook from Ramon St-Pierre is ducked by "dragon slayer" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Bryan hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Bryan connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Ramon St-Pierre hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. "dragon slayer" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Bryan circles Ramon, landing jabs at will. The fighters circle each other. A shot catches "dragon slayer" off balance and off guard. Ramon St-Pierre spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Bryan gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. St-Pierre is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Bryan Watson attempts to buck Ramon St-Pierre off from mount but Ramon St-Pierre keeps his base and maintains position. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Ramon connects with a hard punch making Bryan bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "dragon slayer" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Ramon attempts a takedown, but Watson clumsily falls down without much provocation. St-Pierre stands over Bryan, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Bryan is able to grab an arm and pull St-Pierre into his guard. Ramon takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Bryan Watsons guard. It doesn't pay off as Watson makes his way to standing. Watson is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Ramon falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Bryan Watson begins to posture on his side. Ramon lands a couple of outside hooks and Bryan Watson returns to the guard. Bryan Watson is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Ramon St-Pierre while utilizing the guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
