Round 1 Felipe Dias connects with a jab cross combination. Felipe catches a leg kick from Hardy, and puts him on the mat. Felipe Dias opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Felipe kicks at the legs of Cliff and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Cliff to stand. A trip to the ground allows Felipe Dias to move into the guard of Cliff Hardy. Cliff sets in an omaplata, forcing Dias to roll through, giving Cliff side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Hardy connects with a jab cross combination. Hardy connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Dias circles Cliff, landing jabs at will. Hardy hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Felipe Dias connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cliff Hardy. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Dias hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Felipe Dias attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Cliff takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Felipe is wisely defending a kimura. Cliff attempts to take it but Felipe is having none of it, though Cliff has used the chance the slide into mount. Dias arches his body up to buck off Cliff Hardy from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Dias connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Cliff Hardy. Felipe Dias keeps Cliff Hardy at a distance with some well timed jabs. Cliff throws a push kick. Dias shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Hardys nose.
