Round 1 Patrick hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Len works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Patrick goes for a hip throw of his own, but Len Adkins is able to counter it, sending Patrick to the ground. Adkins drops some good elbows to the face of Brewer forcing him to give up his back. Patrick tries to explode out the backdoor but Adkins sinks in both hooks. Patrick stands up but Adkins sinks a choke. Patrick slowly succumbs to the hold and taps.
