Round 1 Lee Phillips catches a leg kick from Len, and puts him on the mat. Adkins locks a triangle but "wooden face" defends well. Adkins decides to let go of the hold. Lee passes through Lens guard into mount. Adkins gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Adkins tries to explode out the backdoor but "wooden face" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Adkins falls flat to protect himself. Len Adkins starts to wiggle out of back control, Lee lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Lee Phillips connects with a hard punch making Adkins bring him in to a tight clinch. Phillips works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Len Adkins takes Phillipss back standing. Phillips isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Len Adkins lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Phillips to release. Adkins is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Lee Phillips kicks at the thighs of Adkins. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Len Adkins connects with a hard punch making Phillips bring him in to a tight clinch. A strong elbow forces "wooden face" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Len kicks at the legs of Lee Phillips and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Lee Phillips to stand. Len keeps Lee Phillips at a distance with some well timed jabs. Len connects with a series of punches forcing "wooden face" into a clinch. Len utilizes his dirty boxing, landing short but powerful hooks to the ribs and uppercuts to the chin of Lee Phillips. Len Adkins stomps the feet of Lee Phillips. Len Adkins places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Lee eats a strong cross as Adkins moves into the clinch. "wooden face" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Len Adkins drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "wooden face" sets a guillotine choke but Len Adkins slips out at the last moment. Len Adkins is now caught in guard. While caught in the guard, Len opens up a cut on Lee with a devestating elbow. Adkins uses strikes to open Lees guard. Adkins stands up and waves Phillips up. Lee Phillips takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Len places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. A strong elbow forces Lee to lose his balance and fall to the floor.
