Round 1 Ian Cook connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Angus. Bennett connects with a strong body shot combo. Ian reaches down and trips Angus with a beautiful ankle pick. Ian dives into back control. Cook lands a series of heavy punches forcing Angus Bennett to roll to his back, giving Cook mount. Angus Bennett shifts his head and hips to keep Cook off balance and unable to land strikes. Cook maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Angus connects with a strong body shot combo. Cook is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Cook can continue. Cook throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Angus is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Angus Bennett connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Bennett turns slightly and fires an upward elbow rocking Cook. Bennett connects with a hard combination sending Cook to the ground. Bennett follows him down into his guard and continues raining punches to the head. Cook taps out from the beating.
