Round 1 Len hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A jab from Lapointe is blocked and a cross is returned by Adkins. Denny Lapointe parries Lens jab and lands an uppercut that floors Len Adkins. Lapointe kicks at the legs of Len and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Len to stand. Denny Lapointe parries Len Adkinss jab and lands an uppercut that floors Len Adkins. Denny Lapointe stands over Len, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Len cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Denny Lapointe kicks at the legs of Adkins and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Adkins to stand. Adkins lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Denny. Lapointe connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Adkins. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Denny throws a crisp jab, but Len slips it and moves in for the clinch. Adkins wraps his arm around the back of Denny and hip tosses him over to his back with an O Goshi throw. Adkins lands in side control. Denny Lapointe almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Denny sneaks a leg back under the body of Len to achieve a defensive half guard. Len Adkins is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Denny gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Len peppers Denny Lapointe with several shots to the face. Adkins sets in a rear naked choke. Denny Lapointe taps out.
