Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Luigi works "The Explory" into the cage from the clinch. Luigi presses his head under Rowlys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Luigi Napoleoni drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Luigi Napoleoni pushes down Dory Rowlys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Luigi Napoleoni slips out of half guard and into side control. "Il Mostro" slides his knee across the body of Rowly and takes full mount. Rowly gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Rowly panics and gives up mount instead. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Dory Rowly fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Napoleoni. "The Explory" works to "Il Mostros" back while standing. "The Explory" throws a couple of outside shots until "Il Mostro" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Luigi works to "The Explorys" back while standing. Luigi throws a couple of outside shots until Rowly is able to work his way back to the clinch. Napoleoni drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Dory Rowly sets a guillotine choke but Napoleoni slips out at the last moment. Napoleoni is now caught in guard. "Il Mostro" pushes down Dory Rowlys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Luigi Napoleoni presses his foot onto the thigh of Rowly to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Luigi slides his knee across the body of Dory and takes full mount. Dory gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Il Mostro" sets in a rear naked choke. "The Explory" taps out.
