Round 1 Masayoshi Hagiwara throws a few jabs at Vitor Becker that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Masayoshi Hagiwara takes Beckers back standing. Becker isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Masayoshi Hagiwara lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Becker to release. Hagiwara connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Becker connects with a strong body shot combo. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Vitor Becker lands a double jab. Masayoshi throws a few jabs at Vitor Becker that miss the mark. Becker connects with a hard punch making Masayoshi bring him in to a tight clinch. Masayoshi Hagiwara drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Becker sets a guillotine choke but Masayoshi Hagiwara slips out at the last moment. Masayoshi Hagiwara is now caught in guard. Becker attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Vitor hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Vitor Becker connects with a jab cross combination. Vitor Becker connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Masayoshi. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Masayoshi lands a double jab. Hagiwara catches a leg kick from Becker, and puts him on the mat. Hagiwara forces Vitors leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Hagiwara slides his knee across the body of Vitor and takes full mount. Vitor bucks off Masayoshi and both fighters get to their feet. The round comes to an end.
