After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Corihuanca works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Xolotl takes the back of "The Rising Son" who works for a kimura. Xolotl pulls his arm out of the hold and push "The Rising Son" away. Hira plows through Xolotl with a driving double leg takedown. "The Rising Son" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Xolotl Corihuanca slips out of it at the last moment. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Haruo Hira to pull Xolotl close. Haruo Hira is having trouble breathing in Xolotls guard. Xolotl attempts an armbar. Hira time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Xolotl Corihuancas guard. Xolotl places both feet on the hips of Haruo and pushes him up in the air. Xolotl flips him over right in to an armbar. Haruo taps out.
