Round 1 "Serpents Shadow" connects with jab cross combination. Alberto presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Jan, aggressively pulling guard. Jan Kosar frees a leg and moves into half guard. Alberto Gomes grabs an overhook and kicks his leg out to snatch an omoplata. Jan rolls over giving up side control. Alberto Gomes moves to north-south position. Jan Kosar begins to roll out from under Alberto Gomes but Alberto Gomes is able scramble to Jans back. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Gomes lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Jan feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Gomes. Jan Kosar counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Alberto Gomes is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Jan Kosar. Jan Kosar ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Alberto Gomes and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Jan connects with a hard punch making Gomes bring him in to a tight clinch. Kosar uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Kosar tries to pick up Alberto for a powerbomb, but Alberto releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Alberto lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Kosar. Jan Kosar narrowly dodges a cross from Alberto Gomes, but falls catching him in his guard. Kosar is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Alberto tries to move to half guard but Kosar uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. While using the guard Kosar sets in an unconventional shoulder lock. Alberto taps.
