Round 1 Dias connects with a hard punch making Juan Gomez bring him in to a tight clinch. Dias places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Juan Gomez drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Royce pulls Juan Gomez close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Gomez keeps his head down in the chest of Dias to avoid any submission attempts. Gomez leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Round 2 Dias hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Royce narrowly dodges a cross from Juan Gomez, but falls catching him in his guard. Royce begins to posture on his side. Gomez lands a couple of outside hooks and Royce returns to the guard. Juan Gomez postures up from guard looking for punches but Royce grabs both his hands and stretches him out. Using his momentum against him Royce back somersaults bringing Juan Gomez with him ending with Royce having full mount. Royce secures his position. Gomez attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Gomez throws a push kick. Royce shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Juan Gomezs nose.
Juan Gomez takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Royce Dias tries to hyperextend the knee of Juan with a kick to the kneecap. Juan hops back to avoid it.
