Round 1 Tesfaye Embaye connects with a strong right hook. Corihuanca throws a few jabs at Tesfaye that miss the mark. Tesfaye throws a push kick. Corihuanca shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Tesfayes nose.
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Xolotl dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Xolotl Corihuanca catches a kick from Tesfaye and drops down for a leg lock. Tesfaye attempts to spin out of it but the lock is still tight. Xolotl Corihuanca moves to a heel hook. Tesfaye taps from the pain.
