Round 1
Both fighters begin to exchange Royce catches Gabriel Ramirez with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Gabriel Ramirez gather himself. Gabriel Ramirez says he is ok and the fight continues. Gabriel hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Dias. Royce Dias executes a single leg giving him the back of Gabriel. Dias peppers Gabriel with several shots to the face. Gabriel slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Royce Dias lands a double jab. Gabriel connects with a strong body shot combo. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Gabriel pressures his opponent into clinching. A hip toss puts Royce under Gabriels side control. Royce takes a few knees to the body while under Gabriel Ramirezs side control. Dias sneaks a leg back under the body of Gabriel Ramirez to achieve a defensive half guard. Gabriel is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Dias gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Gabriel Ramirez works his arm around the neck of Royce attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Royce hand fights well. Royce Dias rolls to his back and turtles up. Ramirez releases hooks and steps off to the side and immediately hooks an arm with his leg. Ramirez grabs his opponents opposite arms and somersaults forward into crucifix position and applies a choke. Royce Dias struggles to break free but the ref jumps in and saves him.
