Round 1 Sanchez connects with a series of punches forcing "Il Mostro" into a clinch. Raul Sanchez takes "Il Mostros" back standing. Raul Sanchez lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. "Il Mostro" is able to work his way back around. "Gran Sucio" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Raul Sanchez narrowly dodges a cross from Luigi Napoleoni, but falls catching him in his guard. "Gran Sucio" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Sanchez starts to lock a triangle. Napoleoni postures up and starts to stand up. Sanchez lands a stiff upkick, slumping Napoleoni back into his guard. Raul Sanchez dodges some ground strikes from Luigi Napoleoni, and sends a few back of his own. Napoleoni opens up the guard and rises back to his feet.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "Il Mostro" connects with a hard punch making Raul Sanchez bring him in to a tight clinch. "Il Mostro" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Luigi drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Luigi pushes down "Gran Sucios" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "Il Mostro" slips out of half guard and into side control. "Il Mostro" slides his knee across the body of Sanchez and takes full mount. "Gran Sucio" gets pummeled by the fists of Luigi Napoleoni. "Gran Sucio" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn\'t quite make it. "Il Mostro" works his arm around the neck of "Gran Sucio" attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but "Gran Sucio" hand fights well. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Il Mostro" throws a hard jab but Sanchez throws a cross right over the top that knocks "Il Mostro" to the ground. Raul stands over "Il Mostro", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Il Mostro" is able to grab an arm and pull Raul into his guard. Raul Sanchez attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Luigi slips out of it at the last moment. Raul Sanchez distracts "Il Mostro" with peppering shots. Raul Sanchez then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. "Il Mostro" is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Sanchez maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Luigi gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Raul lays into Napoleoni with some strong shots forcing Napoleoni to give up mount position. "Il Mostro" bucks off Raul and sweeps him over taking side control. The round comes to an end.
