Round 1 Mick fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Patrick Grant. Mick Williams works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Williams escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Mick parries Grants jab and connect with a cross that floors Patrick. Mick stands over Grant, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Grant is able to grab an arm and pull Mick into his guard. Mick Williams takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Patrick Grants guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Grant makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Patrick Grant, but Mick is able to muscle through for a takedown. Patrick Grant goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Mick Williams slips out at the last second. Williams locks an arm triangle while in guard. Grant is able to defend it but opens his guard, allowing Williams to hop into side control and finish the choke.
