Round 1 "The Russian" feints and follows up with a hard cross. Bates stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. "The Russian" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Braxton hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Fomin. Fomin pummels Bates with a series of rapid fire fists. Bates blocks a tight hook from Stanislov Fomin and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Stanislov Fomin stumbling backwards. Bates stalks him across the canvas. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Stanislov sends Braxton to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Braxton dodges some ground strikes from Stanislov Fomin, and sends a few back of his own. Stanislov attempts to pass Batess guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Bates gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Stanislov tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can\'t quite finish it. Braxton Bates starts to wiggle out of back control, Stanislov Fomin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bates attempts a striking combination, but Stanislov Fomin forces the clinch. Bates places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "The Russian" fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Braxton Bates up for a flurry of hooks. Stanislov Fomin parries Batess jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Bates. Bates rolls to his back with Stanislov Fomin standing over him. Stanislov Fomin lays into Bates with some stomps. Bates can\'t handle it as the ref stops the fight.
