Round 1 A trip to the ground allows Banuelos to move into the guard of Zeke Weaver. Weaver is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Banuelos. Banuelos takes advantage of a mental laps from Zeke Weaver and moves into full mount. Zeke Weaver gets pummeled by the fists of Mauricio. Zeke Weaver gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn\'t quite make it. Mauricio peppers Weaver with several shots to the face. Zeke Weaver starts to wiggle out of back control, Mauricio Banuelos lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Banuelos connects with a hard punch making Zeke Weaver bring him in to a tight clinch. Zeke Weaver attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Mauricio Banueloss strikes. Mauricio escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Zeke parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. Banuelos stands over Zeke Weaver, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Zeke Weaver cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Weaver connects with a hard punch making Mauricio bring him in to a tight clinch. Zeke receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Zeke works to Mauricios back while standing. Zeke throws a couple of outside shots until Banuelos is able to work his way back to the clinch. Zeke Weaver drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Banuelos sets a guillotine choke but Zeke Weaver slips out at the last moment. Zeke Weaver is now caught in guard. Banuelos gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Zeke Weaver slips out of half guard and into side control. Banuelos tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Mauricio is staggered by a jab to the chin. Mauricio connects with numerous jabs to the face of Zeke. Mauricio executes a single leg giving him the back of Weaver. Mauricio slides to the side and spanks the butt of Weaver in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Weaver slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Mauricio Banuelos hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Mauricio stuff a shot from Zeke Weaver and lands several shots to the body. Zeke Weaver attempts to pull guard but Mauricio pushes his way to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
