Round 1 Mauricio Banuelos weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Fiso grabs for a clinch but Banuelos grazes him with an uppercut. Fiso staggers back, then surprises Banuelos with a powerful superman punch. Banuelos lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Telea Fiso. Telea connects with a hard right hand putting Mauricio Banuelos on the mat. Telea goes down with him into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Banuelos reaches down and trips Fiso with a beautiful ankle pick. Banuelos dives into side control. Mauricio slides his knee across the body of Fiso and takes full mount. Mauricio punishes Fiso with a series of strikes from the mount. Telea Fiso gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Banuelos peppers Telea with several shots to the face. Mauricio Banuelos works his arm around the neck of Telea Fiso attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Telea Fiso hand fights well. Telea Fiso spins through into the guard of Mauricio Banuelos. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows Mauricio to move into the guard of Fiso. Mauricio Banuelos drops a few strong punches, opening up Fisos guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Fiso gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Telea starts to wiggle out of back control, Banuelos lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mauricio Banuelos stuffs a shot from Fiso and hits him with an outside body shot. Fiso gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Telea Fiso attempts to create some space from his guard, but Banuelos sees the opening and passes to full mount. Fiso gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Fiso tries to explode out the backdoor but Banuelos sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Fiso falls flat to protect himself. Telea Fiso attempts to stand up, but Banuelos throws his leg over, setting an armbar. Telea Fiso taps out.
