Round 1 Adkins fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Austin. A spinning back kick leaves Austin Smith stumbling back and clutching his side. "jericho" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Norm keeps Austin Smith at a distance with some well timed jabs. Norm Adkins is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from "jericho". Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Norm Adkins throws a hard jab but Smith throws a cross right over the top rocking Norm Adkins. Norm Adkins connects with a hard punch making Smith bring him in to a tight clinch. Norm Adkins drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "jericho" sets a guillotine choke but Norm Adkins slips out at the last moment. Norm Adkins is now caught in guard. Norm Adkins uses strikes to open "jerichos" guard. Norm Adkins stands up and waves Smith up. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Adkins attempts to clinch, but "jericho" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Austin Smith loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Norm for the mistake. Norm has side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
