Round 1 Aondowase Savage parries "The Hounds" jab and connect with a cross. Aondowase Savage catches a leg kick from "The Hound", and puts him on the mat. "The Hound" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Marcus connects with a hard jab as Savage attempts a wide outside hook. Aondowase Savage grabs a single leg and pushes Hermansen to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Aondowase Savage switches to a double leg but Hermansen does a good job of keeping his base. Aondowase takes Hermansens back standing. Aondowase lifts up Marcus and dumps him on his back, taking side control. Aondowase Savage hovers over Hermansen pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Aondowase Savage throws the leg aside and takes side control.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Aondowase Savage eats a strong cross as Hermansen moves into the clinch. Aondowase Savage receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Marcus. While tied up, Savage is met with a hard uppercut. Hermansen hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Aondowase Savage attempts a striking combination, but Hermansen forces the clinch. Savage works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Marcus throws a short elbow at Savage. Aondowase Savage recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Aondowase pressures his opponent into clinching. Marcus receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Aondowase Savage fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Marcus up for a flurry of hooks. Hermansen keeps Aondowase Savage at a distance with some well timed jabs. Aondowase Savage pressures his opponent into clinching. Savage works Marcus Hermansen into the cage from the clinch. Savage presses his head under Marcuss chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "The Hound" absorbs several body shots while being tied up. Aondowase Savage throws a short elbow at Hermansen. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
