Round 1 A wild hook from Shinga is ducked by Nkosi Nsizwakele who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "The King" stuffs a shot from Morne Shinga and hits him with an outside body shot. Morne Shinga gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Nkosi takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Shingas guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Shinga makes his way to standing. Morne Shinga throws a hard jab but Nkosi Nsizwakele throws a cross right over the top rocking Morne Shinga. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Nsizwakele cannot pick up Morne Shinga who is too strong for his throws. Nsizwakele opts to use a valley drop and floors Morne Shinga. Nsizwakele remains standing. Nkosi stands over Morne Shinga, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Morne Shinga cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Nkosi Nsizwakele throws a crisp jab, but Morne slips it and moves in for the clinch. Morne continues to maintain the clinch, creating space often for strong elbows. The ref breaks the action as Morne Shinga is too inactive holding Nkosi Nsizwakele in the clinch. The action is restarted with the fighters separated. "The King" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Nsizwakele throws a crisp jab, but Morne Shinga slips it and moves in for the clinch. Shinga gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Morne Shinga is defended well by Nkosi Nsizwakele. Morne Shinga grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Morne Shinga returns to the clinch. Nsizwakele attempts a lazy shot from the tie up, Shinga capitalizes by taking his back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Nkosi Nsizwakele dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Nkosi Nsizwakele throws a cross that easily dodged by Morne. Morne Shinga connects with a series of punches forcing "The King" into a clinch. Nkosi Nsizwakele places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "The King" works Morne into the cage from the clinch. "The King" presses his head under Morne Shingas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Morne Shinga connects a few knees to the upper torso of "The King". Nkosi spikes Shinga into the mat with a powerful slam takedown. Round 3 is finished.
