Round 1 Tebello takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Matsimela to hit him harder. Matsimela throws a few jabs at Cebekhulu that miss the mark. Nsele connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cebekhulu. "Shaka Zulu" stuffs a shot from Matsimela and hits him with an outside body shot. Matsimela gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Cebekhulu connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Cebekhulu stuffs a shot from Nsele and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Tebello Cebekhulu keeps his head down in the chest of Matsimela to avoid any submission attempts. Tebello Cebekhulu leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Nsele is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Tebello transitions to half guard. Cebekhulu is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Nsele gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Matsimela starts to wiggle out of back control, "Shaka Zulu" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Matsimela Nsele presses forward and grazes "Shaka Zulu" with a combo. "Shaka Zulu" wants none of the stand up and clinches with Matsimela Nsele to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Tebello is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Matsimela Nsele falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. A can opener from Matsimela Nsele opens up Cebekhulus guard. Matsimela Nsele lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Nsele is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Shaka Zulu" pulls Matsimela Nsele close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Tebello Cebekhulu gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Tebello carefully protects himself from Nseles strikes. Matsimela Nsele lays into "Shaka Zulu" with some strong shots forcing "Shaka Zulu" to give up mount position. Round 3 is over.
