Round 1 Cleto is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Branden Collins stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Collins is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Cleto Rodriquez defends a triangle attempt, throwing Branden Collinss straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Branden Collins is able to hold him to half guard. Branden Collins tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Cleto Rodriquez slips out of half guard and into side control. Collins gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Branden Collins is able to make it back to the standing position. Cleto Rodriquez locks around the waist of Branden. He sneaks his foot behind Brandens and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 "Maniac" wraps around Collinss waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Branden is wisely defending a kimura. Rodriquez attempts to take it but Branden is having none of it, though Rodriquez has used the chance the slide into mount. Branden pulls Rodriquez close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Branden Collins gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cleto tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3 Collins circles "Maniac", landing jabs and crosses at will. Branden circles "Maniac", mixing jabs with body shots. Cleto Rodriquez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Collins lands a series of heavy punches forcing Rodriquez to roll to his back, giving Collins mount. Collins throws some outside strikes at Rodriquez. Branden maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 3 comes to a close.
