Round 1 "Pirate Master" snaps back the head of Matvey with a stiff jab. "Pirate Master" is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Pirate Master" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "The Kidney Stone". Matvey Kulikov attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Tomasito pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Tomasito Ortega catches a leg kick from Matvey, and puts him on the mat. Ortega takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Matveys guard. It doesn't pay off as Matvey makes his way to standing. "Pirate Master" narrowly dodges a cross from Matvey Kulikov, but falls catching him in his guard. Tomasito sets in an omaplata, forcing "The Kidney Stone" to roll through, giving Tomasito side control. Ortega throws his knee into the ribs of "The Kidney Stone". Tomasito attempts an armbar, but "The Kidney Stone" stops the attempt. Tomasito uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 "Pirate Master" keeps Kulikov at a distance with some well timed jabs. Tomasito snaps back the head of "The Kidney Stone" with a stiff jab. Matvey gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Ortega tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "The Kidney Stone" starts to wiggle out of back control, Tomasito lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Pirate Master" keeps Matvey at a distance with some well timed jabs. Tomasito Ortega attempts a takedown, but Matvey Kulikov clumsily falls down without much provocation. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Matvey Kulikov keeps Ortega at a distance with some well timed jabs. Matvey Kulikov connects with a series of punches forcing Tomasito into a clinch. "Pirate Master" attempts to grab the plum but "The Kidney Stone" takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down "Pirate Master". Matvey Kulikov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Ortegas guard. It doesn't pay off as Tomasito makes his way to standing. Matvey Kulikov narrowly dodges a cross from Tomasito Ortega, but falls catching him in his guard. Kulikov connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Matvey Kulikov shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Ortega pushes down "The Kidney Stones" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
