Round 1
Reynaldo Santos lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. "Andrei Arlovski" lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Lukyan connects with a strong right hook. Santos attempts a striking combination, but "Andrei Arlovski" forces the clinch. Lukyan gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "The Viper" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Andrei Arlovski" standing over him. Melnikov dances around Reynaldos legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Andrei Arlovski" lands some solid knees to the legs of "The Viper" from the clinch. Reynaldo Santos escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Reynaldo Santos circles Lukyan, landing jabs at will. Santos throws a cross that easily dodged by "Andrei Arlovski". Lukyan Melnikov is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Lukyan Melnikov can continue. After dodging a jab, "The Viper" lands a kick to the liver of "Andrei Arlovski" who steps back only to take a knee. "The Viper" rushes forward to capitalize but "Andrei Arlovski" falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Lukyan Melnikov thrusts his leg into "The Vipers" knee while grounded. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Santos is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Melnikov grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Reynaldo. "Andrei Arlovski" circles Reynaldo, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Reynaldo Santos chips away at "Andrei Arlovski" with a series of kicks to the legs. Lukyan is staggered by a jab to the chin. Melnikov parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Reynaldo Santos lays into "Andrei Arlovskis" thighs with some well timed kicks while Lukyan Melnikov is grounded. Round 3 comes to a close.
