Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Cookie Monster" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Evgenii. Evgenii escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Evgenii keeps "Cookie Monster" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Richard Renaud throws a cross that easily dodged by Ilyin. "Cookie Monster" throws a cross that easily dodged by Ilyin. Evgenii takes Richard down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Richard. Richard thrusts his leg into Evgeniis knee while grounded.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Richard Renaud throws a cross that easily dodged by "The Executioner". Renaud is staggered by a jab to the chin. Evgenii fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Cookie Monster". "The Executioner" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "The Executioner" sends Richard to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Evgenii Ilyin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Richard Renauds guard. It doesn't pay off as Richard Renaud makes his way to standing. "The Executioner" narrowly dodges a cross from "Cookie Monster", but falls catching him in his guard. Evgenii Ilyin sets in an omaplata, forcing Renaud to roll through, giving Evgenii Ilyin side control. Evgenii throws his knee into the ribs of "Cookie Monster". Ilyin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Renaud locks around the waist of "The Executioner". He sneaks his foot behind "The Executioners" and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Richard attempts an armbar, but "The Executioner" stops the attempt. Richard uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Richard maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "The Executioner" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Executioner" carefully protects himself from Renauds strikes. Evgenii tripods up, causing Renaud to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Evgenii is able to take guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
