Round 1 A left high kick from Phil keeps "The Golden Gun" at bay. Stevenson circles Romero, landing jabs at will. After dodging a jab, Stevenson lands a kick to the ribs of Toao Romero who winces in pain. Phil Stevenson circles Toao, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "The Golden Gun" snaps back the head of Phil with a stiff jab. Phil Stevenson connects with a strong right hook. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Phil takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Toao Romero parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Phil Stevenson throws a cross that easily dodged by Toao Romero. Stevenson is staggered by a jab to the chin. Stevenson lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Toao. Stevenson rushes in a little too quick and "The Golden Gun" uses it to his advantage, stepping back and using an advanced side drop ending with Stevenson under side control gasping for air. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Phil circles Toao, landing jabs and crosses at will. Phil Stevenson circles Toao, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Stevenson circles Toao Romero, landing jabs at will. Phil arm drags "The Golden Gun" into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. Round 3 is over.
