Round 1 Ranieri snaps back the head of Phil with a stiff jab. "Ring Arounds" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Stevenson circles Arosio, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Stevenson grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of "Ring Around". Phil Stevenson parries Ranieri Arosios jab and connect with a cross. Phil Stevenson dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of "Ring Around". Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ranieri Arosio is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Phil. Stevenson sends "Ring Around" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Stevenson drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Phil and he is able to sneak his leg through Arosios loose guard, to half guard. Phil Stevenson opens a cut over the eye of Arosio. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Stevenson slips out of half guard and into side control. Ranieri Arosio gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Ranieri Arosio starts to wiggle out of back control, Phil Stevenson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Phil parries Arosios jab and connect with a cross. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Ranieri Arosio circles Phil Stevenson, mixing jabs with body shots. Ranieri Arosio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Phil. Phil lands a knee to the chest of "Ring Around", putting them both off balance and to the floor. Ranieri backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Ranieri Arosio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Stevenson. Phil dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Ranieri standing over him. "Ring Around" lays into Phil Stevensons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Stevenson does so. The bell signals the end of round 3.
