Round 1
Kogo eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Igoryok Vasilyev. Igoryok Vasilyev snaps back the head of Kogo with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. Vasilyev fakes an overhand and is able to take down Nobu Kogo with a double-ankle pick. Nobu Kogo can only work to half guard. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Vasilyev connects with a series of punches forcing Nobu Kogo into a clinch. Nobu receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Igoryok. "The Impaler" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Nobu Kogo standing over him. Kogo attempts to drop a fist on Vasilyev, but misses and lands in his guard. Nobu attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "The Impaler" slips out of it at the last moment. "The Impaler" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Igoryok Vasilyev shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Igoryok Vasilyev attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Kogo slips out at the last moment. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Igoryok Vasilyev places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Igoryok dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Nobu Kogo standing over him. Nobu Kogo attempts to drop a fist on Igoryok Vasilyev, but misses and lands in his guard. Vasilyev lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Igoryok attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Kogo slips out at the last moment. Vasilyev attempts an armbar from the bottom, but "Sengoku Power" slips out at the last moment. "The Impaler" attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
