Round 1
Rodriquez is staggered by a jab to the chin. Stevenson connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. Round 2
Cleto Rodriquez attempts a takedown, but Phil clumsily falls down without much provocation. Cleto Rodriquez drops a huge strike to Phil Stevensons chin, landing into his guard. Cleto attempts to pass Phil Stevensons guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Phil Stevenson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cleto Rodriquez peppers Phil Stevenson with several shots to the face. "Maniac" peppers Phil with several shots to the face. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Rodriquez connects with a strong right hook. Cleto fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Stevenson. Stevenson attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by "Maniac" who lands in his guard. Rodriquez takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Phils guard. It doesn't pay off as Phil Stevenson makes his way to standing. Cleto narrowly dodges a cross from Phil, but falls catching him in his guard. "Maniac" dodges some ground strikes from Phil, and sends a few back of his own. Cleto Rodriquez goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Phil Stevenson slips out at the last second. Cleto attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. The bell signals the end of round 3.
