Round 1 Haruo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Stevens keeps "The Ripper" at a distance with some well timed jabs. "The Ripper" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. A looping right hook from George Stevens sends Hotate to the mat. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 George Stevens lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. The fighters circle each other. Stevens moves in to press the action, but Haruo Hotate lands a heavy back kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. George is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Stevens connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Haruo is dazed on the mat. Stevens drops a powerful fist onto Haruo. "The Rippers" eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
