Round 1 "CrazyBilly" snaps back the head of Vargas with a stiff jab. Nicolas Vargass legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Renzo Rua unleashes a flurry of punches on Nicolas Vargas. The fighters circle each other. Renzo Rua sprawls a takedown attempt from Nicolas. Nicolas eats several punches on the way back to his feet. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Nicolas keeps Rua at a distance with some well timed jabs. Nicolas Vargas keeps "CrazyBilly" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Nicolas snaps back the head of Rua with a stiff jab. Rua attempts a lazy shot, which Vargas sprawls, eventually taking Rua back. Vargas tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Nicolas Vargas peppers Renzo with several shots to the face. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Nicolas catches a leg kick from Renzo Rua, and puts him on the mat. Nicolas pulls out of the guard of "CrazyBilly", stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of "CrazyBilly". Renzo Rua attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Nicolas Vargas the chance to pass to side control. Renzo Rua takes a few knees to the body while under Nicolass side control. Nicolas slides his knee across the body of Rua and takes full mount. Nicolas Vargas maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Nicolas Vargas secures his position. Round 3 is finished.
