Round 1
A left high kick from Gutter Cloutier keeps Thierry at bay. Cloutier attempts a striking combination, but "Triple Threat" forces the clinch. Gutter lands some solid knees to the legs of Lombard from the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Gutter grabs the plum and pulls "Triple Threats" face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Gutter lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "Triple Threat" connects with a series of punches forcing Cloutier into a clinch. Cloutier throws a solid knee to the jaw of Thierry Lombard. Gutter Cloutier connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Lombard is dazed on the mat. Gutter dances around Thierrys legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Gutter Cloutier attempts to drop a fist on "Triple Threat", but misses and lands in his guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Thierry circles Cloutier, mixing jabs with body shots. Thierry Lombard sends Cloutier to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Lombard drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Lombard defends a triangle attempt, throwing Gutters straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Cloutier is able to hold him to half guard. Thierry slams his knee into Gutters ribs. Thierry Lombard slips out of half guard and into side control. Gutter gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Gutter Cloutier starts to wiggle out of back control, "Triple Threat" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Gutter throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by "Triple Threat". "Triple Threat" lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Gutter on his back. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
After dodging a jab-cross, Lombard lands a kick to the liver of Cloutier who steps back and begins to take a knee. Lombard rushes forward to capitalize but Cloutier stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Gutter eats a stiff kick to the face. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cloutier recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Cloutier is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Thierry Lombard prepares to pounce, but Cloutier gets his bearings just in time. Lombard drops a huge strike to Gutters chin, landing into his guard. "Triple Threat" forces Gutters leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Lombard lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Lombard throws his knee into the ribs of Cloutier. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Thierry "Triple Threat" Lombard wins by Split Decision
