Round 1 Sanya Semyonov snaps back the head of Tamryn with a stiff jab. Semyonov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Zakharov. Sanya attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Tamryn Zakharov who lands in his guard. Tamryn Zakharov tries to pick up Sanya Semyonov for a powerbomb, but Sanya Semyonov releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Sanya Semyonov lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Tamryn Zakharov. Tamryn narrowly dodges a cross from Sanya, but falls catching him in his guard. Tamryn connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Tamryn Zakharov goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Sanya Semyonov slips out at the last second. Sanya Semyonov attempts a huge overhand right but Tamryn Zakharov bucks back and switches Sanya Semyonov into mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Zakharov shoots a takedown from a distance putting Sanya on the ground. Zakharov tries to pass guard but "Top of the stairs" stops him with a well timed punch. Sanya Semyonov backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Zakharov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Tamryn snaps back the head of Sanya Semyonov with a stiff jab. Sanya Semyonov loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Tamryn Zakharov for the mistake. Tamryn Zakharov has side control. Tamryn Zakharov throws his knee into the ribs of "Top of the stairs". Sanya gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Semyonov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Tamryn Zakharov. "Top of the stairs" gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Tamryn attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Top of the stairs" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Tamryn takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Zakharov is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Sanya Semyonov takes down Tamryn Zakharov, but remains standing over him. Sanya drops a huge strike to Zakharovs chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
