Round 1
"Canchiro" snaps back the head of Zakharov with a stiff jab. Tamryn Zakharov eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Kichiro. Tamryn Zakharov throws a cross that easily dodged by "Canchiro". Sotomura catches a leg kick from Tamryn, and puts him on the mat. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Tamryn narrowly dodges a cross from Kichiro Sotomura, but falls catching him in his guard. Kichiro attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Tamryn slips out of it at the last moment. Kichiro Sotomura takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Tamryns guard. It doesn't pay off as Tamryn Zakharov makes his way to standing. Kichiro keeps Tamryn Zakharov at a distance with some well timed jabs. Tamryn takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Zakharov loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Kichiro Sotomura for the mistake. Kichiro Sotomura has side control. Kichiro Sotomura attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Tamryn Zakharov for his troubles. Tamryn gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Tamryn throws a cross that easily dodged by Sotomura. Tamryn Zakharov is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sotomura escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Sotomura fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Tamryn to a corner. Tamryn swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "Canchiro" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Tamryns guard. It doesn't pay off as Tamryn Zakharov makes his way to standing. Kichiro Sotomura narrowly dodges a cross from Tamryn Zakharov, but falls catching him in his guard. Kichiro Sotomura sets in an omaplata, forcing Tamryn to roll through, giving Kichiro Sotomura side control. Sotomura throws his knee into the ribs of Zakharov. Tamryn Zakharov takes a few knees to the body while under Kichiros side control. Round 3 is over.
