Round 1
Whelan lands a double jab. Cockburn is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Cockburn attempts to clinch, but "The Real Deal" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Whelan lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. The fighters circle each other. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Whelan keeps Myles Cockburn at a distance with some well timed jabs. Cockburn connects with a series of punches forcing Whelan into a clinch. Mark throws a short elbow at Myles Cockburn. Myles Cockburn works "The Real Deal" into the cage from the clinch. Myles Cockburn presses his head under Marks chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Whelan grabs the plum and pulls Cockburns face into a powerful knee. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Whelan grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Myles under the eye. A full foot sweep knocks "The Real Deal" to the ground. Myles lays into Whelans thighs with some well timed kicks while "The Real Deal" is grounded. Whelan thrusts his leg into "and Myles ofs" knee while grounded. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
"and Myles of" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. After dodging a jab, Whelan lands a kick to the ribs of "and Myles of" who winces in pain. "The Real Deal" locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of "and Myles of". "The Real Deal" takes the back of Myles who works for a kimura. "The Real Deal" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Myles away. Mark is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Myles tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Mark that puts him on the floor. Whelan stands over "and Myles of", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "and Myles of" is able to grab an arm and pull Whelan into his guard. "The Real Deal" lands an intense elbow that has "and Myles of" rocked. "The Real Deal" lands an outside strike as he moves into side mount. Myles takes a few knees to the body while under Whelans side control. Whelan attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Cockburn for his troubles.Round 3 comes to a close.
