Round 1
Shane Evans parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Evans attempts a striking combination, but Vitale forces the clinch. Vitale Zhukov works to Evanss back while standing. Vitale Zhukov throws a couple of outside shots until Shane is able to work his way back to the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Zhukov grabs the plum and pulls Shane Evanss face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Zhukov lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Shane Evans throws a cross that easily dodged by Zhukov. Zhukov circles Shane Evans, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Vitale grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of "Sugar". Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Vitale Zhukov connects with a series of punches forcing Shane Evans into a clinch. "The Impaler" throws a short elbow at Shane. Evans grabs the plum and pulls Vitale Zhukovs face into a powerful knee. Shane Evans parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Evans circles Vitale, landing jabs and crosses at will. Evans is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. After dodging a jab, Vitale lands a kick to the liver of Shane who steps back only to take a knee. Vitale rushes forward to capitalize but Shane falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Zhukov chucks "Sugars" legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Shane Evans weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. "The Impaler" throws a push kick. Shane Evans shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "The Impalers" nose. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Sugar" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "Sugar" is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Zhukov tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from "Sugar" that puts him on the floor. Shane stands over Zhukov, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Zhukov is able to grab an arm and pull Shane into his guard. Two strong elbows from Shane dazes Vitale Zhukov. Shane transitions into side control. Vitale takes a few knees to the body while under Shanes side control.
