Round 1 Andy Anderson narrowly dodges a cross from Santiago Campos, but falls catching him in his guard. Anderson connects with several chop shots from the bottom. "Kunios Protege" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "Aranha" snaps back the head of Anderson with a stiff jab. Andy Anderson throws a cross that easily dodged by Santiago. Santiago shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Santiago throws his knee into the ribs of Andy Anderson. Santiago Campos lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Campos takes Andy down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Andy. Santiago stands over Andy Anderson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Andy Anderson is able to grab an arm and pull Santiago into his guard. Anderson goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Santiago Campos slips out at the last second. Santiago Campos attempts to pass Andersons guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Campos maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Andy Anderson gets pummeled by the fists of Santiago. Andy Anderson gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Santiago lays into Andy with some strong shots forcing Andy to give up mount position. Santiago Campos is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. "Kunios Protege" is now caught in Camposs guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Andy attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. "Aranha" takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Santiago slides his knee across the body of Andy and takes full mount. Campos secures his position. "Kunios Protege" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Kunios Protege" carefully protects himself from "Aranhas" strikes. Anderson tripods up, causing Santiago to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Anderson is able to take guard. Round 3 is finished.
