Round 1 Nakao is staggered by a jab to the chin. Maurice Stevenson wraps around Naos waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Nao takes a few knees to the body while under Stevensons side control. "Nightfall" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Maurice peppers Nao with several shots to the face. Nakao tries to stand up but Maurice plants him back down with several strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Nao Nakao throws a push kick. Stevenson shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Nao Nakaos nose.
"Nightfall" connects with a strong right hook. Maurice Stevenson begins to clinch with Nakao, but Nakao presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Nakao attempts a lazy shot, which Stevenson sprawls, eventually taking Nakao back. Nao Nakao tries to explode out the backdoor but Maurice Stevenson sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Nao Nakao falls flat to protect himself. Nakao tries to stand up but Maurice Stevenson plants him back down with several strikes. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Stevenson narrowly dodges a cross from Nakao, but falls catching him in his guard. Nakao takes advantage of a mental laps from Stevenson and moves into full mount. Maurice gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Maurice starts to wiggle out of back control, "Nightfall" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Stevenson narrowly dodges a cross from "Nightfall", but falls catching him in his guard. Nao attempts to pass Maurice Stevensons guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Maurice Stevenson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nao Nakao tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Giving up his back, Maurice panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
