Round 1
"Mister Perfect" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "MK12" to the cage. "MK12" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "MK12" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Mereu. Masato attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Masato Kanada throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Tancredo Mereu puts Masato Kanada on the mat giving his back up. Mereu peppers "MK12" with several shots to the face. Giving up his back, Kanada panics and gives up mount instead. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kanada lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Kanada dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Tancredo Mereu standing over him. "Mister Perfect" attempts to drop a fist on Kanada, but misses and lands in his guard. Mereu tries to move to half guard but "MK12" uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. While caught in Kanadas guard, "Mister Perfect" gets hit with a vicious elbow. Kanada locks a kimura and forces "Mister Perfect" to defend. Kanada settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Mereus temple. Mereu tries to move to half guard but Kanada uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
The fighters circle each other. Kanada loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Tancredo Mereu for the mistake. Tancredo Mereu has side control. Tancredo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Tancredo drops some good elbows to the face of Kanada forcing him to give up his back. Tancredo peppers "MK12" with several shots to the face. Mereu is working a furious pace on "MK12", intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Round 3 is finished.
