By mistake we didnt noticed that Alik broke another record for the Academy: Fighter with more wins (67), beating Roger Phillips, who had 57. Impressive career, breaking 3 of the Academy Records.

Amazing career. 15 years after his 1st fight(!) and at the age of 42, Alik Besthuzev retires. Alik is a Co-owner and Co-founder and he is the head coach for Sambo. He also wins the record for fighter with more fights (130!), and, having a #482 rank, earns himself a spot in the top 5 fighters of the Academy. A very good trainer and an icon of our Academy. He will now follow our fights outside the cage!

At 39 years old, with a record of over 100 fights, extreme veteran Alik Besthuzev won his 1st title against Toe Tam Jiu Jitsu fighter Rubens Gracie. He dominated all the fight, winning by unanimous decision. Great prize at the end of the career of this great man. Congratulations Alik.

I know I know, bro. I need to make more appearances. The truth is, I play a lot in between projects at work. DFW is Dana Fuckin' White. I don't know if you've ever gone to the Underground Forum, or even other places, but he's referred to as DFW because of his tendency to drop the f bomb.
