Round 4 Silva takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "The Phreako" is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Maurice Stevenson attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Nico for his troubles. Silva gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Maurice tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Maurice executes a double hand slap to the ears of Silva. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Stevenson throws a few jabs at "The Phreako" that miss the mark. Nico parries Stevensons jab and connect with a cross. Maurice snaps back the head of Nico Silva with a stiff jab. Maurice ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Silva to the mat, and his back. Maurice slides off to the side of Silva and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Maurice switches back to full back control. Maurice Stevenson slides off to the side of Nico Silva and lands several heavy knees into his ribs.
