Round 1 "The Muscle Shark" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Cliff. Cliff Mitchell attempts a striking combination, but Everett Sherk forces the clinch. Sherk takes Cliffs back standing. Sherk lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Cliff Mitchell is able to work his way back around. "The Muscle Shark" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Sherk takes Mitchells back standing. Sherk lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Mitchell is able to work his way back around. "The Muscle Shark" executes a sweeping throw, planting Cliff on the mat. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Cliff Mitchell hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Cliff Mitchell throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "The Muscle Shark" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. A welt begins to form under Cliffs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "The Muscle Shark". Cliff lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "The Muscle Shark". Mitchell hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Sherk. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Cliff Mitchell sends Sherk to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Everett begins to posture on his side. Cliff lands a couple of outside hooks and Everett returns to the guard. Cliff Mitchell passes through Sherks guard into mount. Everett Sherk gets pummeled by the fists of Cliff Mitchell. Everett Sherk gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Cliff Mitchell peppers shot to the head of Everett Sherk looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Everett Sherk is hand playing well. "The Muscle Shark" starts to wiggle out of back control, Cliff lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mitchell connects with a hard punch making Everett bring him in to a tight clinch. Everett Sherk works to Mitchells back while standing. Everett Sherk throws a couple of outside shots until Mitchell is able to work his way back to the clinch. Mitchell takes the back of Everett Sherk who works for a kimura. Mitchell pulls his arm out of the hold and push Everett Sherk away. Cliff parries "The Muscle Sharks" jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Everett. Everett rolls to his back with Cliff standing over him. Mitchell kicks at the legs of "The Muscle Shark" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "The Muscle Shark" to stand. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Mitchell catches a leg kick from "The Muscle Shark", and puts him on the mat. Cliff Mitchell drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Mitchell takes advantage of a mental laps from "The Muscle Shark" and moves into full mount. "The Muscle Shark" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cliff works his arm around the neck of Everett Sherk attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Everett Sherk hand fights well. Everett Sherk starts to wiggle out of back control, Mitchell lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "The Muscle Shark" attempts a striking combination, but Mitchell forces the clinch. Everett Sherk receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Mitchell escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Cliff parries Everett Sherks jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Everett Sherk. Everett Sherk rolls to his back with Cliff standing over him. Cliff drops a powerful fist onto Everett Sherk. Everett Sherks eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
