Round 1 Kuznetsov dodges a series of strikes from Allen and counters with a body shot and cross. Kuznetsov then backs up and wags a finger at Allen. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Allen attempts to clinch, but Kuznetsov connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Allen lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Rasul feints and follows up with a hard cross. Allen stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. The fighters circle each other. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Jon Allen throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Rasul Kuznetsov. "The Ghoul" shoots but Allen stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Jon lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Kuznetsov gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "The Man" slides to the side and spanks the butt of "The Ghoul" in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Jon is working a furious pace on Rasul, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Rasul Kuznetsov feints and follows up with a hard cross. Jon stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Rasul Kuznetsov connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Jon Allen shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "The Man" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Rasul Kuznetsov gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Kuznetsov carefully protects himself from "The Mans" strikes. "The Man" peppers Rasul Kuznetsov with several shots to the face. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Kuznetsov tries to stop a shot with a punch but Jon Allen plows through Kuznetsovs attempt and ends up in guard. Rasul begins to posture on his side. Jon lands a couple of outside hooks and Rasul returns to the guard. "The Ghoul" slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Jon Allen grabs a guillotine hold and forces "The Ghoul" back down gaining side control. "The Man" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Allen slides his knee across the body of Rasul and takes full mount. "The Ghoul" shifts his head and hips to keep Jon Allen off balance and unable to land strikes. Jon Allen executes a double hand slap to the ears of Kuznetsov. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Jon Allen connects with a hard jab as Rasul Kuznetsov attempts a wide outside hook. Jon Allen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Rasul Kuznetsov feints and follows up with a hard cross. "The Man" stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Allen reaches down and trips Rasul with a beautiful ankle pick. Allen dives into back control.Round 5 comes to a close.
