Round 1
Moore presses forward and grazes Curley with a combo. Curley wants none of the stand up and clinches with Moore to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Curley Hayes drops a huge strike to Nates chin, landing into his guard. Nate Moore attempts an armbar. Hayes time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Moores guard. Curley attempts to pass Moores guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Hayes secures his position. Nate Moore gets pummeled by the fists of Curley. Nate Moore gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Curley lands a series of heavy punches forcing Moore to roll to his back, giving Curley mount. Nate Moore shifts his head and hips to keep Hayes off balance and unable to land strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Nate shoots a takedown from a distance putting Curley Hayes on the ground. Nate Moore attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Hayes slips out of it at the last moment. Nate Moore takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Hayess guard. It doesn't pay off as Curley Hayes makes his way to standing. Curley Hayes is staggered by a jab to the chin. Moore snaps back the head of Curley Hayes with a stiff jab. Hayes attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Nate Moore takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Hayes takes a few knees to the body while under Nate Moores side control. Nate Moore lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Curley gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Hayes dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Nate standing over him. Nate attempts to drop a fist on Hayes, but misses and lands in his guard. Nate drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Nate attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Hayes slips out of it at the last moment. Curley goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Moore slips out at the last second. Nate Moore loses his position, allowing Curley Hayes to slip behind and lock in a rear naked choke. Nate Moore quickly taps out.
